Subject:-Regarding replacement of mining tenders by government
undertaking, corporation
Sirs,
The state and central governments are holding the dead source and institution
of revenue generation and departments compensating the huge monetary loss from
the exchequer but the central and state governments have been releasing the tenders
of gold generating source and departments viz sand and coal etc.
The Bihar government has shown the extra courage to crackdown on
sand mafia, the financier of some political parties and anti universal elements
damaging the environment and transparency in financial transaction strongly supported
and promoted by PMO and CMO, Bihar.
The corporatization of these two sectors would start generating huge
revenue for both central and state governments to announce and implement the
schemes of larger public interest. Such move of corporatization of sand and
coal mining would also put a brake on the lawlessness and monopoly over law and
order to greater extent.
I, therefore, appeal you to immediately declare the
corporatization of sand and coal mining in Bihar and Jharkhand followed by
other states in consultation with the central government.
