To,
The all the honorable Chief Ministers/Secretaries, India
Date:-17 October 2015
Subject:-Regarding actions and ban on CEAT Tyres in your respective states in view of the broad day fraud by CEAT Tyres.
Sir,
Hopefully I wish to appeal that CEAT Tyre Company has been lying/committing fraud with all the tyre customers of CEAT across India.
The company prints the date of manufacturing on tyre and counts the warranty (1-3) years from the same date as manufacturing, whereas the customers obviously buys the tyre at least a month later from the date of manufacturing. Thus the customers are deprived of the rights of full warranty as promised by company and its fraudulent policy.
I have informed the same to the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Government of India which, after getting convinced, advised me to file FIR against the CEAT Tyre Company for fraud via complaint Registration Number-DOCAF/E/2015/00646
My filing of FIR against CEAT Tyre is not going to entitle all the customers of CEAT Tyres across India to overcome the fraud by CEAT Tyres and its fraudulent policy.
I, therefore, appeal you to act against broad day fraud by CEAT Tyres in your respective states and ensure immediate moratorium on the sale of CEAT Tyre until it stops committing fraud if any with the customers and revoke its fraudulent policy.
I hereby attach the copy of complaint status of Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Government of India advising me to file FIR against CEAT Tyres for fraud.
