To,
The Honorable President, India
The Honorable Prime Minister, Hindustan
The Honorable Chief Justice, Patna High Court
The Honorable Justice, Supreme Court of India
The Honorable District Judge, Patna
Date:-05 September 2016 (Teachers’ Day)
Subject:-Regarding action against the peon and clerks extorting money from the clients in courts against the submission of attendance, petition, and announcing next date for hearing and other such to do facilities.
Sirs,
People go to court for justice after they are frustrated in every institutions for justice but the court proves to be a biggest frustration especially in state capital of Bihar, Patna where money is extorted brazenly in court rooms and in the rear presence of honorable judges. The people respect the courts so much theoretically but practically they rubbish the culture of extorting money by peon and clerks in court room and in rear presence of honorable judges. The clients have had to pay the extortion for everything ranging from submitting application for attendance, collecting dates and other collecting other to do information. The divorced women, old women, financially bankrupt women and direly helpless women are not exception to the extortion by peon and clerks for collecting even alimony. The women have had to share the money they get as alimony. I practically shiver to imagine the peon and clerks extorting the little money from the women they get to survive after matrimonial disaster.
I, therefore, appeal you all honorable to react instantly and freez the culture of extorting money from the people seeking justice in courts.
