Subject:-Functioning of State Bank of India like State Bank of Taliban
Sir,
I am fed up of complaining about various basic facilities at State Bank
of India, East Boring Canal Road, Patna (06551).
The bank did not have facility for elderly people to sit, when I
complained, sitting facility was arranged.
The bank did not have token machine for queuing the customer, when I
complained it was installed
The bank never had staffs at all its counters, when I complained, all
the counters had staffs.
But now the token machine is dysfunctional. Green channel counters are
not working; one or two counters are always staff-less. All the customers
including elderly and physically challenged have got to stand in queue for
hours for their turn. There is no cash deposit machine, there is no mechanism
to inform the customer via sms about their turn of business. There is no
helpline (Mobile or landline) number to inform or provide information to the
people about their turn.
The bank appears to be worse-maintained just like a butcher house. The
people have got to waste whole day wasting valuable time for even minor
business.
Please ensure that the service is maintained without complaints. Please
order the creation of public information system to let the people know about the
absence, delay and timing of services
