Sir,
Sadly speaking
that there is undefined limit for booking reservation tickets in sleeper class
and so on which torture both passengers with confirmed and unconfirmed tickets.
The railway doesn’t lawfully attach extra bogies to accommodate waitlisted passengers
as a result, waitlisted passenger journey in the same bogies with the
passengers having confirmed tickets. They claim to carry tickets and forcibly
share the berth with passengers with confirmed tickets. Such anomalies always
result in ordeal and conflicts among the passengers with confirmed tickets. So
much so that TTE also make tickets in running train for reserved bogies which
add woes to the passengers. Three is patrolling of RPF having nothing in mind
to protect the right and interest of the passengers. They are in search of
violating passengers who are common phenomena in reserved bogies as a result of
excessive booking of tickets by both railway ticket counters and TTE. I am the
eyewitness of whole episode. I have also captured the ordeal of the passengers
and TTE which I attach herewith.
I, therefore,
appeal you to develop mechanism to stop apparent off and on board ordeal and
extortion of money.
