Sir,
Well known that mobile companies verify
the SIM subscribers poorly leading to several crimes unresolved after investigation. 9973838316 is one such number used for duping a bank customer later
brought to police yet scot-free. The companies sell mere 5/-Rs. SIM mortgaging
the national & nationalists’ security. Cos must follow the pattern of bank
for verification of customers. The companies must be booked immediately for
selling SIM on fake identity which they don’t own after investigation.

SIM sale
Sir,
Crime by mobile phones has
drastically increased in last few years but police are helpless in many cases
as the SIM is available for 5/10 Rs. without full proof verification yet. My
last letter via PMO Portal dated-26-12-14 carried some advice regarding this. Now
please ask mobile operators to snap photographs & take thumb impression of
the SIM buyers and order mobile Cos to display name and address of the caller
in receiving mobiles to minimize chunk of crimes.
